Lifting a cup or turning a handle can provoke outer elbow pain even if you never play tennis. When symptoms return, consider which tasks repeatedly load your forearm.
Ease back into activity
Keep the mouse close and your wrist neutral. As pain settles, increase activity gradually rather than immediately resuming your previous workload.
What ultrasound can show
After examining elbow and wrist movement, the clinician may use ultrasound to look at the tendon and surrounding tissues. Weak grip or numb fingers warrant assessment for other causes.
Where PDRN fits
If PDRN pharmacopuncture is appropriate, ultrasound helps the clinician see the tendon and nearby structures during treatment. It is not necessary for everyone. Mention any fish allergy and discuss a graded exercise plan.
